Community Options Integrated Services, Incorporated is seeking a compatible experienced family home provider who is interested and committed to opening their private home and providing quality supports and services for an active and social young woman in her 40’s with a developmental disability. She enjoys watching old game shows, playing video games and shopping. She is a very hard worker and takes pride in a job well done. Like most of us, she appreciates receiving attention from those around her and loves treating herself to the things she loves and appreciates most in life! She is somewhat a creature of habit, is personable, and makes for a great companion. It is critical that this young woman resides within the Santa Clarita Valley as this has quickly become her home base and work base. She is in need of a new home within the next 30 days, so time is of the essence. The desired candidates interested in being her certified family home provider must also be outgoing, professional, assertive, dynamic, possess a stable home life, and be committed to providing quality care. Please see below for qualifications and requirements for opening your private home to becoming a care provider. Learn more by visiting our website and social media regarding participating in this rewarding opportunity!

The candidates for consideration should be prepared to provide day to day care, supervision, and support time to each person in the caregiver’s private home to be certified by Community Options Integrated Services, Incorporated. Reliable transportation, insurance, a clean criminal/driving background, and the ability to offer a neat, clean, and nurturing home environment are a must. Many COIS family home providers already certified with our agency are able to provide care and support, yet maintain their primary employment pending hours and flexibility!

If you have experience in providing services to people with developmental disabilities or in a closely related field, and are interested in finding out more about the requirements and responsibilities of becoming a COIS Certified Family Home Provider with COIS, please call or email for more information.
